I’m working on better things, but in the meantime…

I got a silly little meme here. The Fives Meme (in case anyone hasn’t done it).

The rules:

1. Post the rules of the game at the beginning.
2. Each player answers the questions about themselves.
3. At the end of the post, the player then tags five people and posts their names, then goes to their blogs and leaves them a comment, letting them know they’ve been tagged and asking them to read the player’s blog.

What were you doing five years ago?

Going on vacation to see my mom, and trying to deal with the fallout of a nuclear bomb that exploded right in the middle of my family. Honestly, it wasn’t happy times.

What are five things on your to-do list for today?

1) Feed the dog.
2) Catch up on some blogging.
3) Straighten the kitchen. It’s so hot outside, the ants are coming in. Letting it go a day is no longer an option.
4) Go through my (severely strained) finances.
5) Make it to bed before midnight. I normally get up at five, and I’m not getting enough sleep lately.

What are five snacks you enjoy?

1) Pizza breadsticks from Quiktrip.
2) Ice cream. Moose tracks or German chocolate cake my favorites.
3) Peanut butter on saltines.
4) Chex mix (or trail mix).
5) Assorted nuts (but they give me too much gas).

What are five things you would do if you were a billionaire?

1) Tithe my ten percent. Actually make it twenty, to make up for all the times I didn’t.
2) Go up north, maybe to Montana, maybe as far as Canada, and buy a house with lots of land.
3) Get out of debt.
4) Take my family, including mom and stepmom, on a cruise.
5) Invest the rest so I can live off the interest and never work again.

What are five of your bad habits?

1) Nail-biting.
2) Procrastination.
3) Overeating and under-exercising.
4) Not following through on my ideas.
5) Beating myself over the head for past, present, and future mistakes.
