snarling and growling

Every so often I come across something that makes my blood boil so much, I lose all sense of civility and start ranting and raving and swearing like a sailor.  Looks like this will be one of those times.

Found this item over at Lukie’s place.  Read it and then watch the video at CNN.  And get pissed.  Very pissed.

 This guy is a beady-eyed sack of shit, and deserves to be run out of town on a rail.  I hope his constituents are paying close attention so they can vote his worthless ass out of office.  If any of my readers are from Mass, take note.  I expect a certain amount of scumminess out of a lot of defense attorneys (comes with the territory) but this turd drags the profession even further down.  And hopefully every self-respecting civic organization, particularly those that deal with children, will distance themselves from this guy and cut off any contributions. 

I can’t even give this craphead the benefit of the doubt that he may have been taken out of context.  He actually defends his stance later.  Guess it’s part of his “job”. 

Some things are indefensible, and any attempt to do so by constructing a “logical” argument only reveals the complete lack of a moral compass.  Don’t get me wrong, I’m all for due process of law even for the obviously guilty, and everybody deserves a competent defense.  But to shamelessly break down an already traumatized young child on the stand, and then proudly defend how it’s done, is evil and diabolical.  Maybe NAMBLA needs to add this guy to their legal defense team. 

While I’m at it, maybe the goals of the legal defender’s system needs to be redefined.  Their role ought to be to protect the accused’s guaranteed Constitutional rights, make sure they receive due process of law, and that any sentence they receive is fair and equitable.  In other words, concentrate more on discovering the truth and administering justice rather than winning.  That way, we avoid circuses like the Brian Nichols case, where the obviously guilty get to game the system.  I can go further, but that’s perhaps a post for another time.

And as far as Mr. Fagon {spit} goes?  Fuck you, you worthless excuse for an asshole.  I’d wish a particularly disgusting profession on you for your future, but Mike Rowe of Dirty Jobs can show the honor in even those professions, so you don’t deserve any honor whatsoever.  I’d post my jackass picture, but that would insult the jackasses of the world.  Let’s just hope you end up losing your career as a legislator, so you can crawl back under the pile of pig shit you came out of and the rest of society can forget about you.
