I’m so used to working nights that I normally do a pretty good job of keeping up my energy at work.
But lately I’ve been tired. Real tired.
So tired, that I’m reminded of, and have found myself singing this song under my breath:
When I’m singing Madeline Kahn to myself, you know I must be tired.
My problem is that my sleep schedule is in fixed windows. And if I use any part of those windows for anything else, or miss them all together, I end us shorting myself on sleep. I’m wide awake at midafternoon, and unable to go back to bed.
Need to go to bed, and stay asleep for more than four hours.
Nighty nite, or in my case, dayty day.
